With the new FF 3.08 ability to insert from Reference Charts here are the PB colors in reference chart format. Just add the contents of PBColors.txt to the end of reference.txt.

Nice one, Pat.
Thank you!

Kind regards

Very impressive! Especially since I don't think that I even describe how users can add to the reference.txt file themselves.

Well, that shows that your choice of data format was an excellent one. The format seems to be self-explanatory.  :)

Kind regards

Paul, you did explain that.

Quote from the FF3 helpfile:
The actual data for the Reference Charts is located in a basic ASCII text file in the FireFly installation folder called "Reference.txt". You are free to edit that file as you wish using any standard ASCII text editor. It is simple to add additional  information using the current information as a template. You will need to create a new [CATEGORY] followed by [COLUMNS] and finally by one or more LIST items that have the column details separated by the pipe "|" symbol.

I had forgotten that I mentioned anything about the reference charts format! :) Maybe I should start reading my own Help files......

PB Color  equates  handy to have.   But they don't seem to be useful to in the properties settings on the control.

Paul,  how about a fourth tab on the color selection menu.   So that you have the following:

       Custom  System Quick  PB-Colors

Or add them to the quick menu.    Would that be possible?

Paul Squires

I'll have to think about that one... I'll add to my tracker to ponder on when things settle down.
