Returns the current date in short format.

FUNCTION AfxShortDate (BYVAL lcid AS LCID = LOCALE_USER_DEFAULT) AS DWSTRING

Parameters

lcidOptional. The language identifier used for the conversion. Default is LOCALE_USER_DEFAULT.

Returns the current date in short format.
