Title: FireFly and PB 9 (PB Objects)
Post by: Andy Flowers on August 25, 2008, 06:33:37 PM
Paul,

Will the current version of FF work with PB-9 and what changes will have to be made?
If not what are your plans?
Will there be an interim release of FF?

FireFly 2 works perfectly with PB9. All that is needed is to update the "PowerBasic_langdef.dat" text file with the new keywords (I will have that updated file available soon).

FireFly 3 is in active development. I have ramped up the development process and FireFly 3 is coming along very nicely. Still a couple of features left to add to it. Not sure when it will be ready for "public consumption"   :)

... all I can say is, if you're a FireFly user then you'll be an even happier FireFly user with version 3. :D

Well, this is certainly welcome news!  I had a deep concern that the new PB9 might be an issue...
Looking forward to FF3!
