Title: Change the same parameter in multiple controls simultaneously
Post by: Barry Marks on November 21, 2009, 10:48:03 AM
Last night I created 8 similar labels to use as colors in a palette but at the time I was only thinking about layout, not the properties of the labels themselves.  Then I had to go through and set each of them individually to ClientEdge.  After looking at it a minute I wondered if I'd like Sunken better and I changed one.  I liked it and I had to go back and change the rest of them.

I tried selecting all of them to change them together but that doesn't work.  It just changed the "most selected" one, the one with the black dots around it.  It sure would be nice if there was a way to change things together.  These weren't a control array.  Just a group that all have to look alike.

By the way, that mutli-select thing is done nicely.  I think it's the most sensible handling of that sort of thing I've seen.  I re-arranged the layout a number of times and it was a snap doing that.
