Title: User Tools question
Post by: John Montenigro on December 08, 2009, 03:13:47 PM
Seems this just doesn't want to work:

C:\WINDOWS\hh.exe E:\SQLitening\120\Doc\SQLitening.Chm

Other User Tools work fine, and I've run this commandline from the C:\ Dos Prompt and it works fine...

I've tried the "hh" both with and without path, extension, and quotes...

Any ideas??

I set it up like in the attached screenshot and it works perfectly.

Hmmm.

That's probably because you were smart enough to put the .CHM file and path in the "Parameters" field...

Surprising how long those DOS habits persist...

:)

Happy to hear that it is working for you now.

(My DOS habits are slowing dying... but every now and again those skills definitely come in handy!).

OK, so I've added 13 User Tools, but I can only see the first 11, and there's no scrollbar.
(Looking at the .ini, Tool0 thru Tool10 display in the list, but Tool11, 12, and 13 don't.)

What dumb thing did I do this time?

The way I designed it was to display only the first 10 tools because I figured that the list would be too long to display in the top menu. Using the "Edit User Tools" dialog you can "move up" and "move down" the tools in the list so that you can pick which of the tools to display in the top menu.
