Does anyone have in their toolbox code that will take a sentance or two and translate it from one lanquage to another. There are free web based services that can do this, but it requires that you open your browser and paste the sentences in and then copy the results. Services such as Google Translate and Babelfish

What I would like to be able to do is pass a statement to an internet translator and get the translation back all from within my own program. The translation happens in the background.
Can anyone here know of such a solution?
I wish I could find an English to PB translator. Then I could say "Write me a program that does ____." and it would write it
Depending on the output, you could still make use of websites. Not too hard opening up a connection to port 80 and sending the request. May not find ready made code, but I'm sure there are multiple places selling libraries to use that you can pass text to and it returns the translation. I'm also sure they are probably expensive as language stuff usually is. PHP isn't that hard to grasp either, and Google is starting to have all kinds of Web API available for easy calling and PHP scripting. At first I thought they were trying to take over the world and didn't trust them...now I know they probably will, but so far they are giving us better stuff than Gates did. I love my Google Phone/Wave/Mail. Now I even want an Android.
