Title: What is your favorite font to develop Windows applications with FireFly?
Post by: Jean-pierre Leroy on February 07, 2010, 05:43:58 AM
Dear FF users,

I'm always struggling to find the best font and size to use when developing Windows applications with FireFly; I know that Microsoft uses the default font ms sans serif with graphical user interface of windows; but I'm curious to know if there are other guidelines and / or best practices regarding the font to choose and the size of the font to use.

Which font and size are you using when developing your Windows applications with FireFly? do you have some guidelines for that? would you accept to share your choices in this thread?

Thanks
Jean-Pierre

I use mainly MSSensSerif or Tahoma, Courier New if I need a monospace font. Font size due to the bigger screens these days ususally 9 or 10.

For showing digital displays like digital clocks etc. I use QuarzLight (see picture)

I most often use Microsoft Sans Serif, this is a true type of the older Sans Serif. In general, I prefer sans-serif fonts above serifs (for screen, not for prints).
