Title: Is it possible...
Post by: Martin Francom on April 22, 2010, 07:51:52 PM
Is it possible to add additional links to help (.CHM) files to the Help Drop down in the FF3 editor?   I use SQLitening frequently and it would be very handy to be able to launch the SQLitening.chm from the FF3 Help drop down menu.

May if FF3.exe used was to use an INI file then users could enter items to customize the Help drop down menu.  Might this be possible?

Marty,

As a workaround, you could setup a user tool - pointing to the help file.  Because it defaults to "Application Files", you have to change the filter to "All Files" when browsing for it.

David,
Thanks.  that works great!  I hadn't set up "user tools" before.  That was easy and works just the why I wanted.  FF3 has so many neat features and I probably have more to find.  User Tools will be one I use alot.
