Sorry to say this, But I have had firefly since version 1.8, that's good news, the bad news is that I have only written one app with it !
I have been using realbasic to write my apps, I have been such a fool! I still, to this day do not know much about Power basic and firefly...
I would like to re-write all of those apps in Fiefly3 :)
So I'm going to be submitting some strange posts, here and there. hope that's ok.

Robert,
Don't feel bad. I purchased Firefly 2 and never wrote one app with it.
Same story with Phoenix AND Vb.net AND Visual C++ .net :o
I sure don't consider myself to be a "programmer", although I've written a number of apps and even sold a few of them. My first "real" program was a machine language game for the C64 I sold to Ahoy Magazine around 1986. (I got $500 from that sale that but it took me a year to write ;D)
So since those days I haven't been able to break the VB6 habit until Firefly 3. (I did buy PB to use for creating DLL's to use with VB6.) So far I've written one actual app with FF3 and I have a couple more that I am nursing along.
Bring on the questions, I'm sure it will help a few of us. There are a number of fantastic "real" programmers hanging out in here!

That was perhaps the major argument I gave myself as well, doing the trivial stuff with VB and the speed-critical things as libraries in PB. After VB 6 though, that VB world was crashed in my book and never entered the .Net scene. To this day I recent the requirements i has, thus loving what core-tools can offer.
Unfortunately my real life workload doesn't let me play to much with any other coding than ASP. But I at least use it a lot with a PDF library I bought for use with PB â€" from FireFly of course.
