Title: EGrid32 CTL Question
Post by: Pat Dooley on July 18, 2010, 01:25:46 PM
In the past I purchesed EGrid32, but didn't do anything with it at the time. Now I would like to check it out, but I'm wondering if the CTL file is right.

The demo that comes with FF3 has a CTL file with a version number of 3.22. The INC file is version 3.28, and the DLL is version 3.57.

I have an INC file with version 3.57 and a DLL version 3.57.

The INC I have appears to be more cuurent. For example, the  EGN_ALLCELLSDRAWN notification message mentioned in the List of Changes appears in my INC file but not in the demo version INC.

Can I use the demo CTL with my INC and DLL and still get full version 3.57 functionality?

File versions are updated only if any modification has been required in the file itself.

For example, if i fix a bug in Egrid32 DLL, the DLL version changes, but since the include file didnt require any modification, it would be unnecessary to update the version number. That would lead to even more confusion.

I think the INC file header explains this.

Is there a link to all the current includes and or CTL files?
What is the preferred way to contact you.

Note: The links at Jose Roca's site are now broken.

Since the website at www.sweetheartgames.com is not working, any links to it will not work.
