I can't run FF3 on Win2K. I get the following error:
The dynamic link library GDIPLUS.DLL could not be found in the specified path. C:\Program Files\Firefle Visual Designer\ etc..
GDIPLUS is available on later operating systems. You will need to download it from the Net. I'm pretty sure that a Google search will turn up many hits.
And why don't you distribute this in your package rather than make a user download this from some "unknown" site?
I will try the Microsoft update, but it says WindowsXP, not Win2000. - Microsoft says the .DLL is freely distributable, so you should include it in your setup folder. Errors like this make me not want to upgrade my project to the new version until things are more stable.
FF3 is quite stable - I never originally intended to support Windows 2000 but several FF2 customers really needed it. I am targeting developers using WinXP and later operating systems. I don't ship the GDIPLUS package with FF3 because it bloats the setup and 99.9% of all FF3 customers already have it.
This Microsoft download supports Win2000. See System Requirements.

Hope this help.
