This might just be me... but I've noticed something strange with the FireFly IDE and the Win 7 environment.
1) I started FireFly 3.09, and created a new project called PROJECT1, and saved it to disk
2) While FireFly was still running, I clicked the HELP and FIREFLY-HELP to bring up the help window
3) I then minimized both, brought up the Win 7 file manager
I was using the Win 7 file manager to work thru a bunch of PDF files I needed to weed thru, nothing programming related, just viewing and deleting or renaming PDF files. After 5 or 6 minutes of this, I noticed strange Win 7 problems with the file manager and mouse.
- I was able to move the mouse, but unable to click/select any PDF files
- I finally closed FireFly and all was normal again
I'm also running AVG FREE, Trillian 5, TOR, Everything, and Sandboxie in the background.
Can anyone else could replicate this? Thx! :-[
Sorry Jim - I haven't been able to replicate it. I use Windows 7 as well.

ha ha ha Good one! :)
Actually, I really like (love?) Windows 7. It is the best OS that Microsoft has put out in years. Too bad they screwed up so much with Vista because I'm sure that experience has tainted people away from using Windows 7. Overall, my experience with Win7 has been very positive.
I agree, Win7 is very good. The only problem I have has to do with designing forms. It is hard to explain but under XP I could clearly see the boundaries for things like a frame and some other controls. With win7 I have to really crank up the contrast to see boarders. Also moving controls, with the mouse, is very sluggish. I corrected that by turning off the AREO stuff.
I have a good video card ATI Radon 4670 HDMI with 2gb DDR2 ram and the correct win7 x64 drivers so I don't think its that. Its not just FF3. VB6 does some strange things also. VB.net is ok.
Minor stuff.
