Title: Is it possible to use FireFly with the Console Compiler?
Post by: ianmc on May 24, 2004, 10:05:32 AM
Hi, as there is the optiion for a second compiler i automatically presumed that it would be possible to use CC3.0 but it doesn't seem to be that easy, for example it can't find the PBCC3.0 help file etc.

I do have JellyFish and i really like it but i would gladly forsake JellyFish for the opportunity to really learn the ins and outs of just one programming environment.

I suppose that if you made FireFly compatible with PBCC then there would be no reason for people to purchase JellyFish,, shame though, as i say, i'd rather have the chance to learn the one environment fully.

Cheers

Hi Ian,

First off, thanks for your kind post over at the PB forum. I greatly appreciate the kind of support that you and other FireFly users have shown me.

I am currently working on a range of API wrapper routines. I will also take a look at adding the necessary routines to enable console programming. Hopefully, it will make it to version 1.04, if not, look for it in 1.05.
