Title: Free Basic
Post by: Gary Stout on February 06, 2011, 03:38:41 PM
Paul,

I just downloaded FB, based on another Ubuntu users recommendation. I have not install it yet, but while downloading, I noticed JPro for FB...wow, my favorite editor for FB....it surely couldn't get any better than that :-)
Question is.....since I already use JF as my editor, is there any need to download the FB version of JF? Or...does it do thing differently under the hood that would require that version to be used with FB.

Thanks again,
Gary

Yes, you would need to get the FB version. It is modified to allow invoking the FB compiler and recognize Subs/Functions syntax and also the different FB keywords.
