Title: Using a 3rd Party Mapping Control
Post by: Matthew Needham on May 18, 2011, 09:26:18 PM
I've recently been trying to integrate a geographic mapping component into an application written in PowerBasic with FireFly. Using Visual Studio C#, I've been able to use .Net controls from MapSuite by ThinkGeo to create a GIS application. Am I right in thinking that I cannot integrate these same controls in FireFly?

I doubt that you will be able to use .NET based controls. If the control is an activex control then we should be able to get it to work.

Thanks for the reply. That's pretty much what I expected.  :(
