Title: Firefly with PB 10
Post by: John Fitz on September 13, 2011, 10:30:06 AM
I'm returing to PB after years away and just got PB 10.

I looked at the post describing how to use FireFly with V10 and copied the new powerbasic.txt file into the Keywords folder but I get an error saying that the path to Jose Rocas Win32 API file is blank. However, I can't get into his forum as it appears that new registration is closed.

Is there somewhere else where I can get the file?

Hi John - Jose is on this forum quite a bit. I imagine he will see this post and set you up.

:)

Jose gets a ton of fake/spam registrations on his site. I usually get 10 to 15 a day on the SQLightning site. I don't get any on this site because it is locked down pretty tight!

Thanks Paul.

Or perhaps someone can just post the file? Might be handy for new FF users.

Hi John,

Just send me a personal message with a valid email address and I will register you in my forum manually.

For some reason, they targeted my forum and I had more than 3 thousand fake registrations in a couple of days, mainly using gmail addresses, as well as hundreds of messages of the server telling that the message could have not been delivered.

Things have chaged a bit since you last used PB. There are 1.181 files :)
