Title: REBAR/TOOLBAR
Post by: Marc van Cauwenberghe on December 15, 2011, 01:27:28 PM
Hello,

I have not used a rebar/toolbar yet but I gave it a try.
I added a bmp that shows up in designer but when does not show up after producing an exe.

What am I doing wrong.

Marc,

When I looked at your project, the firefly generated resource file "CODEGEN_GGSCH_RESOURCE.rc"  contained: IMAGE_IMPORT1 RCDATA DISCARDABLE "..\\IMAGES\\IMPORT1.BMP
Paul will need to address that. As far as I know, it should be: IMAGE_IMPORT1 BITMAP DISCARDABLE "..\\IMAGES\\IMPORT1.BMP

To get it to work, I added a resource file manually and pasted the line above.  It worked... but the "transparent" displays as white. I don't have much experience with drawing buttons and toolbars, so I didn't look into that.

Thank you very much David.

I changed the 'Change Format' in the Image Library Manager to BITMAP, although the image is BIPMAP.
Transparency is still an issue but I think bitmaps can't handle that.

Best Regards,
Marc

Ah...  I haven't used the Image Library Manager.  I will check it out. Thanks!

As far as I know transparency works with .ico format only.
(See attached modified project.)

Thank you Rolf,

I will try again.

Attachment seems to point to index.php or is something on my computer?

Marc,

Jose pointed out to me a while back that Firefox 8.01 is doing that.  Once downloaded, rename the .php to .rar and open it.

Well, I'm betting it's not supposed to behave like that.... So, I give you strange.  I expect it will get fixed next minor release. (Were you saying I was right, and I'm still strange?  My kids might agree with the second one, but never the first.)
