I'm changing all my fonts to Tahoma 9pt. Can't think of anything else to do at this point.

Hi Richard, check your mailbox. I just sent you a private message.  :)

I want to start a new project.
Should I wait for FF4 and start from scratch or will it take a long time before FF4 appears.
It is soooo quiet in this forum.

It won't be FF4... it will be FF 3.60.
I just need to update the Help file and then I'll send it out. You can start a new project and simply continue on with 3.6 when it is available.
...sometimes quiet is good!  :)

Version 3.60 will be posted very soon. With summer coming, I need to get that version released and then try to relax a bit. Our summers are pretty short where I live. Way too short. :)
...that reminds me, I need to buy a new BBQ.

Essential to make a short summer more pleasurable (except for vegetarians).

Don't squint at putting those veggies on the grille!

Grill some 'shrooms - they are good with or without meat.

I just finished updated a couple of older FireFly projects (pre-3.5). The biggest changes were in the area of absolute coordinate positioning.
For example, in the code I would position certain child windows/controls to certain coordinates (nLeft = 5, nTop = 10, etc...) and use SetWindowPos or MoveWindow to do the work. When the program is compiled and run, the controls end up in weird unexpected positions because the absolute values used need to be scaled to reflect the current DPI setting. In the code, I changed the values to nLeft = AfxScaleX(5), nTop = AfxScaleY(10), etc... and then everything works as it should.
If this scenario relates to your situation then you're better off making the changes now rather than waiting.

I may just do that Paul. Been to Port Elisabeth, South Africa last 3 weeks.
Reason: A good friend had his 50th birthday. :D

Vegetables are not food.
Vegetables are what food eats.

Do you mean that I'm food?

Paul.. the summers out here are long... real long.
Move out here and we'd welcome the 'unusual' accent... but you'd have to accept the Vancouver Canucks as your home team.  :P
Fair trade... no?
