Title: Project meny flaw
Post by: Haakon Birkeland on June 07, 2004, 07:56:13 PM
When giving the project executable a "long" file name, FF has a flaw in the project meny, wher the shortcut of the "Compile [filename]" gets cluttered under the keyboard shortcut reference. Maybe it would suffice to have it say "Compile EXE|DLL".

That's what mine says???  "Compile EXE..    Ctrl+F5"

Only clutter I notice is the last option in that menu for the Project Properties when giving the project a long name it isn't all displayed there, and the recent list in the File menu shows all the filename, but the menu is really big.

I agree. I will make the changes. Simply "Compile EXE", or "Project Properties" should be sufficent.

Oh, weird.  I just noticed what he was talking about on the Compile Menu...didn't appear until after I compiled.  Looks like the menu isn't sizing like the others and has a static length or something.

It has a static length because it is an owner-drawn menu (due to the nature of the embedded menu bitmaps).

I think that the only non-ownerdrawn menu is the Format menu.

This is all corrected now. Fix will be in 1.06.
