Title: Resizing update?
Post by: David Kenny on September 20, 2013, 05:32:36 PM
Hello Paul,

You had mentioned here:http://www.planetsquires.com/protect/forum/index.php?topic=2447.msg18805#msg18805 (http://www.planetsquires.com/protect/forum/index.php?topic=2447.msg18805#msg18805) that you were thinking of implementing a more sophisticated resizing routine based on code you received from Eddy.

Any new updates you can offer on that?  With the amount of time elapsed since that post, I am guessing that you hit some snag(s).  Maybe integration with your High DPI aware stuff. And I know you have a day job as well. Sometimes I wish your user base was large enough to allow you to do FF full time.  :)

Regards,

David

Might want to allow splitting the functionality too.  The "Do not resize this control" is misleading when it really means resize/move.  I had a control I just wanted to move, so set left and right side to Fixed Right.  Without taking the check off it did nothing and didn't save the setting.  If the checkbox determines everything the other controls should be disabled or something.
