Title: Logical removal of statusbar
Post by: Haakon Birkeland on June 09, 2004, 09:02:10 AM
The statusbar, as the menu, can't be selected like other controls, but jumps into the editor dialog. This dialog doesn't seem to contain a way to remove the statusbar, if so is desireable. I did find the right-click option on the form, but that was pure incidental, and I didn't think of looking there. (I was just about to nag for help in the assistance forum).

I really think there should be an option to remove it (quickly) from within the dialog. The same probably goes for the menu dialog.

Btw: Paul, have you checked what happens when one keeps removing panels from the statusbar? As of now, I have one with -2 panels in it.  And if I keep hittin the previous panel button, it's not stopping to count down. Giving quite a few funny settings in the tooltip field. :?

The right-click popup menu is not clearly explained int he Help file. It is mentioned in the "Menu editor" help under "FireFly's Tools" but that seems to be about it. I will further enhance the Help to better explain it.

StatusBar Panels: I have been doing a lot of work on the StatusBar. Please send me a private email and I will send you back the latest update for you to test.
