Sorry to the of English speaking.

If you want access to many more functions then you should definitely take a look at Jose's work. Here is the Help file that documents many of his wrappers. The source code for those functions are included in his Include files that FireFly uses. This is an incredible resource that Jose has provided for FREE !!!

Lazy as I am .. An extra link in FF's 'Help' menu (below the FF, PB and Win API help files) to Jose's help file would be handy.

@Jose: Just composing your help file would take me ages to complete. Thanks for that massive amount of work, man!!

The Help files are attachments to the posts in that thread.

If you are not a member of Jose's forum then you will not have access to the attachments.

To become a member, send Jose an email asking to become a registered member of his forum.

Yes, he's a master, so are some other folk in here, so don't be shy to ask. :)

Having a special include file is not only for newbies, it is also handy for the advanced
programmer who wants to save time by not having to reinvent the basic wheel, so, yeah.

Speaking spanish may not be the best in an english forum, but if thats a better way to
get you help, there are also PM's. :)

Cheers. :)

"Right, ask paul if he can create a subforum for spanish speaking people."

I prefer not to have dedicated subforums for different languages. I have English, Spanish, French, German, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Chinese (and who knows how many other) speaking customers.

Different language sub forums clutter the forum and it becomes more difficult to find information, it also is more difficult to find help.

If English is a problem one can use Google Translator.
http://translate.google.com/

Works usually pretty good. I have been able to help people on the Basic4Android forum like that in languages I do not speak.

No need to upgrade the forum software. My other websites have the latest SMF forums but the FireFly forum does not need it. That is because it is not exposed to the internet like most forums are. It is hidden away between multiple layers of user/password protected pages. Only registered users of FireFly can access the forum and to do so they must go through the aMember software frontend before getting to the forum. I have never had a spam registration ever.

Also, I have modified this version of the SMF forum software to integrate with aMember via some backend scripts. Upgrading the forum means I have to tamper with those scripts and fear of breaking them.
