Title: Toolbars without text below the icons.
Post by: Elias Montoya on October 16, 2014, 11:48:56 PM

Can a toolbar without bext under the item icon be created? Like the firefly IDE, but with slightly bigger icons?

I would guess, yes, because Firefly was made with firefly, right?

Hi Elias,

Yes, I normally create toolbars without text under the buttons all the time. Actually, having text is something that I rarely do. Just omit putting any text in the "Text" field for the button.

What would be interesting while on this topic is how one can use larger icons like 90x90 and upwards in 32bit colors.
It comes in handy when you make something to be used on a touch screen and the user then doesn't need to point at something small.

Thanks paul. I was assuming having empty text would show the empty space below the icon. I will try it in the morning.

I removed all the text in all of my toolbar items but the empty space where the text is supposed to go is still there.

I don't remember much how toolbars work, i will check them tomorrow.
