Title: Thank you
Post by: Eros Olmi on November 24, 2014, 02:35:43 AM
Just wanted to say a BIG Thank You to Paul Squires and his FF.

I had FF since a long time but never got a real problem to solve with it.
2 days ago I had to redesign from scratch thinBasic Bundling interface (thinBasic creation of a sort of Executable) and started to use FF.
After few hours dedicated to it's help, few little examples started to get the feeling and fully understanding its principles ... wow what a piece of code.
I was able to create my first real FF application full of code without continuously thinking to the UI like I had when I code the UI in PowerBasic.
The process of creating and maintaining the UI was so natural, so easy, so perfect. All the things I needed to program the UI were there and in the right place.

Thank you!

Ciao
Eros

I agree!
It's just plain fun to create and program a GUI using FF ! Without FF it would often be a tedious job.

 Very powerful indeed!!

Here are some screenshots of ours.  ;)

Firefly is a great tool, even more if we push its limits.

Firefly doesn't even sweat.  ;)

Elias, do you say we can load a FF program in BasictoPHP and compile a PHP program of it?

I think Elias is working with the IDE of the new version of BasictoPHP using Firefly. Apparently it will include GUI interface.

I am also satisfied with Firefly. It's a great tool.

Hello Klaas, Israel is right, we are working in the next release of BasictoPHP, which is created in Firefly. :)

Sounds great.
I look forward to the new release of BasictoPHP.
It looks like a new wind is blowing into FF.

Paul, I forgot to thank you too for this great product.
