Have you tried doing an install using the "Local" option? If you use the My Documents option then the projects, settings folders will be created there. The Local option creates those folders off of the installation folder.

You need to do a full install of version 3.70 and then copy in the new 3.74 files overwriting some existing 3.70 files. From the sounds of your post it seems like that is what you have done. Not sure what the problem could be but I will keep thinking.

A little bit more Information:

Initially I had installed an old Version of FF (3.09) and PB 9.05.

First I made the update to PB 10.03 and then the update to FF 3.70.
There where two installations of FF, 3.09 and 3.70.
Then I deinstalled 3.09 and tried the update to 3.74.

The System is W2k SP 4 ( I Need compatibility to W2k) in a local VMWare - Machine.

Thanks for helping
