I use Firefly on a portable hard drive daily. Do an initial install using the "local" option so that all files are under the same install folder rather than having the Settings and Projects located in My Documents. You will still have to enter your serial number when you first connect to a new computer but if you regularly use that computer then that's okay. However, if you need to constantly connect to many different customer computers then having to enter serial numbers is certainly not ideal.

FYI - The FreeBASIC version of Firefly does not have any of these limitations and is 100% portable.

Since the FF PB is being pulled, maybe one last quick patch to remove all the licensing for equal portability?
