Hi José, I am fixing that for you but it may entail getting a new password reset. You will most likely receive an email looking for a new password.
I had to manually edit the forum backup prior to importing into the new site. Most likely the file never saved the utf-8 characters... or truncated when it did recognize a character. Not sure.
I just finished doing a re-import of all of the messages from the old forum. To be safe, I changed José to Jose (sorry José), and used UPDATE sql syntax within a TRANSACTION. It appears that all of the messages that were previously truncated at "Jos" have now been restored. That's good news because I don't want to lose any of José's contributions (messages and code).
