Title: Help on Toolbar
Post by: David Martin on July 15, 2004, 09:38:51 AM
It may just be my way of thinking, but when I click on a Help Icon in a toolbar I expect help for that application ie: FF not another one ie: PB.

It would be nice to maybe have another icon for PB help.

I have suggested before now that a nice to have option would be configurable help options, so that you could launch your favourite help files from the FireFly menu.

I don't personally use the icon on the toolbar at all - F1 is good enough for me :)

Sometimes it's very desireable to have instant and quick access to FF's help files. Fx. when using [F1] in formdesign view, the PB helpfile ain't doing much good. Neither is it doing any good when the caret is placed inside a FFF or API call.

That still brings up the PB help not FF ... I am just saying that the default help should be for the product you are in.

For instance: pressing F1 when you are trying to get help with FF_????? doesn't do you much good.
