I came across this (via codeproject) and thought there may be some interest here. http://tonsky.me/blog/disenchantment/ (http://tonsky.me/blog/disenchantment/) He has only been programming for only 21 years, so think how I feel about it, after 50 years or so messing with computers ;) . Of course, I guess someone equally could write a diatribe about how wonderful it all is. I recently downloaded the community edition of Delphi. It makes me really appreciate the relative 'cleanliness' of Paul's efforts.
