Title: allow adjusting of #compile exe
Post by: Don Dickinson on July 16, 2004, 01:36:25 AM
it would be great to be able to control the executable path. it seems to default to the project directory ... unless you've choosen to put your temp files somewhere else. then it goes in that directory. but, if you use the "compile" option it can go anywhere. but, it seems to forget this when you leave firefly and come back. I would personally like to see it compile the exe in the project directory every time. but, having 3 choice would be best ...
1. put it in with the temp file
2. put it in with the .prj
3. put it in a specific location.

best regards,
don

I'm on the same wavelength as Don on this one, with a twist.

I would like to see an option for setting two paths - one for the temp files, the other for the executable and runtime environment.

actually i might be nice to have control over the meta statements. maybe a "header" section where we see what firefly is going to use and are able to change it. that way #stack, maybe some "debug" equates, etc an all be in that area.

thanks!

Yup I said that a while back.  I put my #Stack in the General section of the code and it seems to work, but looks odd...especially in the generated code.
