I found a possible backbitmap problem. When I run a program where an MDI form had a back bitmap, the bitmap is only visible when the form is initialized, or when it is resized. The rest of the time, it is covered up by the default MDI form color.
Occurred with:
FireFly 1.07
Win XP Home
I don't know how much complication the MDI part adds to fixing this, but if it is possible I'd appreciate it -- I really like this feature!
Thanks!
John
Yes, it does look like there is problems with this... I am on it - hopefully I'll get it all fixed up very soon.
This is now fixed. I needed to set the background brush for the class to %Null whenever a backbitmap was specified.
The fix will be in the 1.08 update.
Thanks Paul! I appreciate it. -John
Hey Paul,
I love this feature, but is it possible to keep the ratio intact when stretching?
Thanks!
John
:)
I have logged this problem into my bug tracker. I will deal with it once I start rewritting the FireFly code generator.
Thanks!
Thank Paul!
If it's not too late, could you change that request by adding the following to it (if it is possible to do this with FF):
- Set an MDI background bitmap.
- Have it scale to MDI size or remain the same size.
- Have it anchor in any combination of bottom, center, top, left, middle, right
??
:) :)
Thanks!
John
(Just saw another application with MDI back bitmap in bottom right and looked really nice.)
No problem at all. I just updated the request in my bug tracker. Hopefully, I can get it all working in FireFly 3.
