Title: Typelib Browser
Post by: John Fitz on November 15, 2004, 10:17:44 AM
I posted this orignally in the source forum and Jose asked to not post there, so I'm repositng it here:

I am having a problem with the COM browser, and apparently some other people have as well (I think Paul mentioned in an earlier post that at least one other person had the same issue).

When I try to bring it up via the OCX_ProgID property, it shows 871 typelibs found (in the status bar), but the File and Description columns are completely blank. If I double click on one of the columns, it then does show the info for that library on the right.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea what the problem is or how to fix it?

Right now I can't use the OCX interface at all becuase Firefly doesn't allow the ProgID property to be editted directly.

I'm using Windows 200 with up to date service packs.
