Title: Preserve Case Option
Post by: Anonymous on December 31, 2004, 04:51:42 AM
In the next version of FireFly could you please (please, please, ....) either remove the "Preserve Case" option from the replacement text dialog, or at the very least make it sticky so that it remembers its setting.

I am getting ticked off whenever I change some text in a project because that setting is enabled by default, and I then have to resubmit the changes to put the capitalisation how I want it to be. It's really irritating because I suppose FireFly is trying really hard to be helpful, and it is doing precisely the opposite.

I can't see a purpose for this option anyway - if I want words capitalised a certain I'm happy to submit a change spelt exactly how I want it.

Now if you could change that checkbox to one that says "make changes globally to every project file" then I'd be really happy :)

This "Preserve Case" problem is now fixed and will be in the v1.11 update.
