I'm new to wiki's myself but it seems they work well for developing a database of instructional material for programming. The Python wiki is where I got this idea. It is like a manual and tutor being published continously in real time. It lets everyone contribute at their level of expertise.
I resisted the concept initially when I discoved it but somehow it works.
If someone with a bad attitude :evil: gets won over by an idea there must be something to it. I think Paul would enjoy more time doing the egghead stuff and less time answering questions he has answered before.
Here is where you can check it out

If Paul can't set up a wiki perhaps he could find a Wiki-Wonka? :D
Hi Paul,
Indeed that is a very good idea. I had contemplated setting up a wiki some time ago but I wasn't sure if it would detract from the "professionalism" of the product especially if it is abused by evil users. :D
It certainly would be a good way of consolidating a lot of people's knowledge though.
I'll certainly have to consider this more. :)
Remember to add the following server-side script at the start of the wiki page:
IF UserName = "Stephane" Then
CALL SendUserToTimbuctoo()
END IF
On a slightly more serious note, there are a bunch of developers and beta testers that you are familiar with who would be good candidates for something like this.
