I am looking at Firefly Demo version sample programs. I was hoping to find an example program that shows how Firefly handles formated text entry boxes. Are their any example of this?

The type for formated text entry I would want to be able to do are:
SSI# ie: 555-3333-99
Phone# ie: (360) 555-1234
Dates: ie: 12/31/1951
Special: ie: ABC.1234.2W3 or 045678-7777-38
Does FireFly have a data entry control that will allow/forse formated
data entered to follow the specified format ?

FireFly does not have a built in masked edit control. Although that would make for a great 3rd party custom control....
You can use Microsoft's Masked Edit:
