Title: Variant is not recognized as a data type by editor
Post by: Art Araya on May 27, 2005, 02:06:24 PM
This is a small niggly thing that affects only cosmetics but might as well throw it out there to add to your To Do list.

Define a variable as a Variant and then hit the Enter key.  You'll see that the data type Variant is not automatically formatted and turned blue like all of the other data types and keywords.

Again, not a big deal but probably easy for you to address.

Thanks Art. I have updated the definitions.

You can do this manually.... Open the file "PowerBasic_langdef.dat" in any text editor. Go down to about line 97 and enter the word Variant. Save the file and restart FireFly for the changes to take effect.
