Title: form resizing
Post by: dacarle on June 27, 2005, 06:51:23 PM
I seem to be having a new problem.  When I go to increase a form, the snap to dots disappear in the new area created and when I go to move controls into the new area of stretch them to increase size they are invisible to the new area.  When I compile, everything displays correctly although control sizing is based on a guestimate not being able to see the increased area.  If I close firefly and re-open the form sizing appears to work correctly again.

I don't know why that would happen - I have never experienced it myself.

Sounds like he is talking about the problem I have sometimes since the new scroll bars were added.  Not only is there some paint issues, but sometimes when dragging the size larger than the window it is like the size isn't stored right or something and the dots don't show up in the new area...plus you usually can't drag a control or resize to the area.  Sometimes it fixes itself or goes away when switching tabs or reloading the project.

Roger-

sound like the same issue.  I noticed the if you close firefly and re-open, when you re-open the project everything is as it should be.

I think that I have fixed this problem (missing clip children window style in the main designer form). You guys can provide feedback once the next update is released.

Cool!  Can't wait, I'll test the heck out of it...as usual.
