I'm experiencing a strange problem with all of my FF text boxes. If the user types in text that extends beyond the right edge of the text box, the text begins to overwrite itself with text on top of text leaving a black mess in the text box.
The only way that I can remedy this is to select the Multi-line ex_style. But I don't really need multiline. These are single line text boxes.
I have played with every combination of Window styles to try to change this behavior and the only one that works is the multline style. Is this by design?
Is anyone else seeing this same problem with their text boxes?

I know what would cause this. I haven't been around the last few days... I will make a fix tomorrow and post a link to it for you.
hmmm... maybe I was wrong. I am not seeing this at all now. Are you using custom colors for your foreground and background textbox colors? Maybe you can put together a sample project and email me?
