This is the only print code that I've written for FB: http://www.freebasic.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=25162#p225863

Would be a great project to extent Jose's AfxPrinter.inc rountines to include PB style XPRINT routines in order to have a full compliment of printing routines.

I stared with DDOC, moved to VPE at work when demand for PDF export, graphs and all that came around.  Big $$, but very powerful.  VPE should be very easy to use with FB.

I use VPE every day with PowerBASIC; furthermore there is a community edition which is free to use; more info :

VPE is pretty cool, but for the work related small printing like label printers and receipt printers Xprint does the job perfectly.
VPE also has all the nice, really cool stuff in the payable options. Ideal for they guys selling software, not so much for the hobbyists.
Would really open FB as an option for me if we can have and "Exact" replacement of xprint.
