I am just getting started using FireFly, so please forgive me if my ignorance shows!  Is there a listing of all of the controls available in FireFly 3.5 along with an explanation as to how they work?  I am puzzled by some and I am sure that there are some which would be very valuable to me but I do not understand how they work.  In particular, I am interested in My Little Grid.  It appears to be just what I need.  Is this the same as the one offered by "Petroleum Software Solutions"?  Are there any good references out there?

Thanx, Ron

You can see all the controls installed in the Firefly Workspace (press f9 in the designer while the form is displaying if you are not seeing the Firefly Workspace).

About what they do, im not sure wheer to look. I can only suggest you google.

But you can press F8 for a list of very intuitive list of commands. For example, i guess you already know what a textbox is, so, if you go to the 'Firefly Functions' in the dialog that opens by pressing f8, and then click 'Textbox', its easy to know what the commands do. For example FF_Textbox_SetText().

Unfortunately Firefly does not have built in commands for MLG. But im sure the developer has a good set of commands for MLG. You can also try Egrid if you want. I used to own that but now it belongs to someone else. Its an amazing control well worth a try. :). There is also siGrid, but i dont know if it is still supported.

If you get stuck, Im sure the good fellow programmers from this forum will be glad to give you a hand. They always do. We do when possible. :)

It is the same, just limited in the number of columns and rows. There is a pretty good helpfile to it.
