When doing a Find across Entire Project, it would be helpful to have additional capabilities:

- Bookmark the starting point
- Skip to next form/module (or Tab?)
- Return to bookmark

or (gasp!):
Let FF do the search through all files and create a popup list:
    >>  form/module, line, text of that line
and let the user click one of them to go there...

Wouldn't that be cool?!  8)

I know, when it comes to creativity and "other stuff", I'm just full of it!  ;D

John,
I agree with you those ideas have merit.  I particularity like generating a list of the locations where the "searched for info" is located.  This could be a very long list if you were searching for something that is common.  But if you carefully constructed your search this would be a great way to pin point were important stuff is located in the code.
I hope Paul can put this idea on the new features "to do list". :)

Isn't that exactly what "Find in Files" does?

Oh, how embarrassing.  :-[  I guess we need to learn all the features that are currently in FF3.  I have always just used "Find"  never noticed the "Find In Files" tab.  I guess I need to clean my glasses once in a while and really look at the available options.  I am sure there are more features in FireFly3 that I am not aware of yet.  That's one reason I like viewing your instructional video's,  I learn little nuances of which I was not aware.

Holy CROP_circles, Batman!

No sooner does someone ask for a feature -- you have it already built and delivered!!! "Find in Files" is what I was picturing when I asked. Amazing!

OK, now that I've eaten humble pie and played with it a bit, may I ask for 2 tweaks?

1. Allow me to change which is the default Find tab: "normal Find" or "Find in Files". Perhaps a "Make this the default Find tab" checkbox at the bottom of each Find tab?

2. Allow me to expand the window size.

And please don't tell me I missed THOSE features, too!

Thanks,
-John
