Code section visualization

Some time back we had a discussion about visualizing the "events" containing code, as you have implemented with a bold entry in the listbox.
Could this also be done for the code section dropdown? The one to the left of the event dropdown, where we choose the object to work with. It would be a great timesaver when fx. one have lots of labels doing as they are supposed to, - nothing, while a few contains code.

I had been meaning to ask users what they thought of a potential new Environment Option that would suppress the displaying of Labels in that combo box. I mean, really, it is not very often that you need to add code for Labels but we use so many of them that it clutters up the combo box (unless you make it a control array).

What do people think of this idea?

U mean weed them out all together?! If it's findable by other means, just in case, and then only visible in the dropdown if it contains code.. Sounds great! Maybe those not given a proper name, but are kept as Label#, could be supressed?!

I often made control arrays in VB, but since PB has been so overwelming in it's nature compared to VB, I kind of have forgotten all about it.

No hide permanent, but maybe an option...I'm one of those weird people that puts Easter Eggs and other weird stuff in my apps.  My most recent app I ran out of room in the size I wanted the app to be and didn't want to put two more buttons, so I actually make use of the disabled Maximize button!  Left click to clear the log window, Right click to update the file list...I make use of every pixel I can, and even labels can be useful for events

Quote..even labels can be useful for events..

You have no idea how much i missed and craved for events for the rectangle/circle control in VB! Actually that's a control I truly miss from FF's control palette. I use them more than the frame control because of the awful 3D look the frame has.

Roger Garstang

Yeah, I agree...we need some shape tools.  Circles, lines, squares, whatever.  If I didn't work my butt off and had more time to play I'd attempt to design some 3rd party thing, but anymore I can't even get my own stuff done.

I'd like/love to contribute to, so I looked at the accompanying XML-file for the RRbutton, and quickly found something else that I really had to do.
I'm in for a most deserved holiday on friday, and don't have the time anyway.

The Shape control is on the wishlist. Hopefully it won't be too a logn a wait.

I'd love for it to have/give control of the corners curve.
