Different language sub forums clutter the forum and it becomes more difficult to find information, it also is more difficult to find help.

If English is a problem one can use Google Translator.

Works usually pretty good. I have been able to help people on the Basic4Android forum like that in languages I do not speak.

No need to upgrade the forum software. My other websites have the latest SMF forums but the FireFly forum does not need it. That is because it is not exposed to the internet like most forums are. It is hidden away between multiple layers of user/password protected pages. Only registered users of FireFly can access the forum and to do so they must go through the aMember software frontend before getting to the forum. I have never had a spam registration ever.

Also, I have modified this version of the SMF forum software to integrate with aMember via some backend scripts. Upgrading the forum means I have to tamper with those scripts and fear of breaking them.
