Prefer to have FIND start working from the current cursor position

When I'm editing, I find it frustrating that subsequent invocations of the Find command don't begin from where the cursor is currently positioned, but from where the Find command last left off.

I'm constantly searching and editing, and I prefer to be in control of where it starts.

Could there be a setting, or a button on a panel, that would let me choose which behavior I want?
