Losing Icon.

Hi guys,

I've found a small bug with the FF editor. When I attach an icon to my .EXE and compile it, it works fine. If I exit the IDE, and re-load the exact same project and recompile, the icon does NOT compile to the .EXE. It shows in the Project Properties, but never makes it in the newly compiled project.

Do you have the check box enabled "Use icon defined in Startup form"  ?

I haven't been able to reproduce the problem you are seeing. Anyone else out there experiencing the same issue as Tye?

It works if I check the box to use the form icon. I was thinking that the app can simply use a "different" resource icon, NOT already attached to a form.

Hi Tye, you are right. The application should be able to use an icon that is not attached to a Form. If that is not the case (like you have indicated) then that is a bug in FireFly.
