Can anyone else reproduce this FF crash?

Add a module to project, then click on the Properties tab in the Firefly Workspace.

Only crashes with FF 3.7.  And I only tested it on Windows 7. Even after a fresh install on a machine that never had FF installed, after creating a new project.

Now, there is no actual need to click on the Properties tab when a module is selected because it will be unpopulated anyway. ::) I was looking to see if I could name it there.  Forgetting for a second that modules are named when you save them.

Yeah, I can repro the crash in Windows 7 x64 in Firefly 3.70. Start Firefly, create a new project with the defaults, then Project > New Module and add a module, then select the Properties tab in the workspace and click anywhere inside the empty property page. Interestingly, even though the page is empty, at the bottom it's displaying context information for a Name property (i.e.: "Returns the name used in code to identify an object").

I'm seeing that behaviour here too on Win XP SP3.

Hmmmm... certainly sounds like a bug doesn't it???   :)

I'll get it fixed and post an update.

I'm not sure how many people would bother to install an update for such an obscure bug that is easily avoided now that we know about it. :)  Surely it can be included in a future update when something else crops up?   I'm not trying to talk you out of it, I just don't think it's very urgent.

That made me think of the old doctor's joke: A man goes into the doctor's office and says, "Doc, when I move my arm like this, it's really painful! What should I do?" To which the doctor replies, "Don't move your arm like that."
