I would like to see this feature as part of the MENU EDITOR and that is:

the ability (after the menu is constructed) for FF3 to be able to build a skeleton "SELECT CASE"  of the menu items that could be pasted into the 'FRMMAIN_WM_COMMAND' function.  This would speed up the process of building that structure and help to eliminate typo's.

I agree - and I believe this was asked for in the past (Marty, did you ask for it at some point?).

I assume there are gonna be several re-requests for improvements that was taken of the list not to hold back the release of FF3. If the forum software supports polling (I assume it does), maybe some of the requests of a certain proportion could be voted on â€" so it comes clear what are the most important/desired amongst the users.

That's a neat idea. (referring both to the new feature suggestion and the voting).

Yes, Paul, I had requested on the beta-testers forum.  Unfortunately, that request was after the release of the production version.   Just wanted to repost here, since this is a special catagory for "New Features Request".   Hoping to keep the idea close to the top of the list.

Finally implemented this new feature request for both the Menu Editor and the ToolBar Editor. The Select Case is copied to the Clipboard so you simply need to paste it into the WM_COMMAND message handler in order to respond to menu items or toolbar buttons.

The change will be in v3.07.

That's great Paul.  Your attention to detail is very much appreciated.  All these little features truely make FireFly the best GUI builder for PB available bar none!
