FireSplitter horizontal draws bottom form off screen

I've attached a screenshot and shell project. Nothing I do seems to be able to force the bottom left pane to remain the correct size. Any help is appreciated.

Ok, I'm obviously a newbie at form sizing here. I managed to clean it up by reducing the size of the splitter control until it filled in the client area.

Yup.  Splitter control went off form, so either that or resizing the form of the richedit fixed it.
