Menu Editor behavior

Here's an oddity. With my current project on the screen, I thought I would go to Menu Editor and add some menu items. I added a few and then decided I needed to rethink some things and canceled out of Menu Editor. A few minutes later I tried to compile and it failed. A number of random characters had appeared in the code. I didn't stop to look, but I wonder now if the random characters were the letters in my meni items?  Once I got that cleaned up, I went back to Menu Editor and the menu item list displayed the first menu item I had typed in earlier, but nothing else. I clicked the Next button and the second item I had typed in suddenly appeared, and so on.
Closed the project, but didn't exit FF, started a new project and went right to Menu Editor.
The first item I had typed in earlier appeared in the list. Clicked next and the second item appeared and so on.  No Random characters this time.
Closing FF cleared it up.
Menu Editor evidently does not like to be canceled.  At least initially.

I had the same kind of issue and other problems with the menu editor. There should be something posted here about it. I don't remember off the top of my head how or if it was resolved.

Is that 1's and 0's or 0's and 1's?
