Project Properties | Startup Form -- Non MDI

I am making a database front-end, and while I like using the MDI form for most of the program, I have a sign-in form that asks for user, pass, server, and database--so I can ensure they have access before loading anything else up.  But, whenever I add an MDI form to the program, the Startup Form is automatically changed from the sign-in form to the MDI form, and I'm not able to change it back.

Was this ever changed so that a project with an MDI form does not have to startup with an MDI form?
